University Town Hall Meeting seeks to promote dialogue.ATHENS, Ohio (Oct. 10, 2006) -- A University Town Hall Meeting intended to encourage dialogue among members of the Ohio University community is planned for 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, in the Ping Center Lounge...President Roderick McDavis and other leaders will be available to listen to faculty, staff and students..."I want to hear what is on the minds of the members of the university community," McDavis said. "I hope a town hall-style meeting will be a helpful venue to open the lines of communication on university-related issues."..There will be no set agenda for the meeting. Rather, the discussion will revolve around topics most important to those in attendance.
